In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, until the 31st of March 2020, it is prohibited for any person to leave their house unless they are required to do so, for any of the following reasons and as long as they adhere to the safety measures already put in place, like not meeting up in a group :
- Leaving the house to attend the work place. This can only be the case if it is absolutely impossible for you to not attend your work office.
- Leaving the house to buy supplies that are necessary for work or essential items for the instititutions where it is still possible to work, as stipulated by the French Minister for Health in the article L. 313-1 of the public health code.
- Leaving the house for health reasons (attend a doctor's appointment or go to the pharmacy).
- Leaving the house for an urgent family matter, or to assist vulnerable people or care for children.
- Leaving the house for a very brief period of time to do some sport on an individual basis or for the need of your pet.
People wishing to leave their house for a short period of time due to one of the reasons mentioned above, must imperatively complete and sign a certificate which ensures that they are outside of the confines of their own house for one the authorised purposes only.
