Pursuant to article 3 of the decree of March 23rd 2020 prescribing rules necessary in the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 virus, it is prohibited for any person to leave their house unless they are required to do so, for any of the following reasons and as long as they adhere to the safety measures already put in place, like not meeting up in a group :
- Travel between my home and my work, when remote work isn’t an option (you’ll also have to fill the work travel document) or work travels can’t be canceled.
- Travel to purchase essential goods within the nearest authorized facilities (list available at gouvernement.fr)
- Travels for medical consultations that can’t be done remotely.
- Travels for family reasons, to assist vulnerable individuals, or for child care.
- Short travels, close to home, for individual physical activity (excluding group sports or proximity with other individuals), or for walking pets.
- Judicial or administrative summons.
- Participation to general interest missions commissionned by an administrative authority.
People wishing to leave their house for a short period of time due to one of the reasons mentioned above, must imperatively complete and sign a certificate which ensures that they are outside of the confines of their own house for one the authorised purposes only.
